Brian J. Bianco (Director) Brian has been Curtain Call’s Education Director for nearly twenty years. He’s worked professionally as an actor, director, designer, scenic artist and stage manager, and his resume includes Stamford Center for the Arts, Long Wharf Theatre, the Lamb’s Theatre, National Theatre for the Performing Arts, and Radio City Entertainment. He was most recently seen at Curtain Call as Otto Frank in The Diary of Anne Frank (2023), Prof. Ted Scheider in Disaster and Mysterious Man in Into the Woods (2022), Martin Heyman in Social Security and John Barrymore in I Hate Hamlet (2019), Norman Bulansky in The Boys Next Door (2018) and Tateh in Ragtime (2016), plus The Chairman in the Town Players of New Canaan’s The Mystery of Edwin Drood, and Vanya in Vanya, Sonia, Masha, and Spike with Armonk Small Town Players.Other directing credits include A Merry Mulberry Street Musical (since 2009), Superman the Musical, Beauty and the Beast, Annie (2010), Annie Warbucks, Miracle on 34th Street, The Klemperers’ New Clothes, and Gypsy (1999) for Curtain Call’s regular season, The Drowsy Chaperone, Matilda, Oliver!, Kiss Me, Kate, Les Miserables: School Edition, The Pajama Game (2002) and Hello, Dolly! for Curtain Call’s Summer Youth Theatre, as well as productions with Trinity Catholic High School, Westhill High School, Stamford High School, multiple staged and concert readings in CT and NYC and educational productions that have toured the country. Brian would like to thank the Curtain Call staff, his stellar cast and production team – and his glorious wife, Donna!
