Hannah Walker is a 17-year-old self-taught violinist who has been playing for almost two years. She has never had a lesson and plays for her school's choir taking any opportunity to play the violin. She has also had the opportunity of playing violin/fiddle on stage during school theatre productions as well. She is also involved with theatre in the community and her school, Notre Dame High School. She is happy to have been a part of Chattanooga Youth Symphony and wishes she could come back next year. She would like to thank her family, friends and audition preparation teacher Mrs. Smith for believing in her and cheering her on.

What is your advice to someone considering auditioning for the CYS?
Have fun and do your best. Not all your auditions will be your best audition and things don’t always go as planned but give it your all and don’t give up.
