Jiani Wu, studying from Prof. Logan Skelton, is a Master student in University of Michigan with full scholarship. Before coming to the United States, she has earned her Bachelor's degree in Engineering in Fudan University and had studied piano from Prof. Minduo Li for ten years. Her awards include the 2nd prize in 2024 SIYAO Instrumental Competition, Honorable Mention in MTNA Young Artist Competition (State Level), 2nd prize in 1st International Moscow Music Competition (online) and 1st prizes in other national competitions in China. Her performance experiences includes “Jesus Gonzalez Alonso” Young Performer’s Recital in Gijon International Piano Festival (2024), Shanghai Parsons Charity Concert Series (2024) and other performances or concerts in Hill Auditorium, Shanghai Symphony Hall, Shanghai Oriental Art Center, Wuxi Grand Theater, Qingdao Concert Hall, etc., including piano concerto repertoires cooperating with conductor Guoyong Zhang and Qingdao Symphony Orchestra, etc.
