Cade Carter is a sophomore violinist currently attending the Butler School of Music at the University of Texas at Austin, and also plays first violin in the Central Texas Philharmonic. He has played in many high level student ensembles such as NYO-USA, Chautauqua's MSFO, and TMEA All State Symphony Orchestra, and has performed as a soloist at the International Summer Music Institute as well as the Tomball Memorial Symphony orchestra. He has studied with Boson Mo, Sean O'Neal, Cathlin Reese, and currently studies with Sandy Yamamoto. His goals in music include auditioning for major orchestras worldwide, and expanding his experience in chamber music, particularly quartet playing.
