Claire Draney is a violist from Missouri City, Texas. While competing in her home state, she was awarded the TMEA Outstanding Performer title two consecutive years. She has performed for acclaimed musicians including Milena Pajaro-van de Stadt, Marina Thibeault, and Matthew Lipman. In 2026, she appeared as a featured young artist in the Fabian Concert Series with Jamie Laredo and Sharon Robinson, as well as with Amy Moretti of the Ehnes Quartet. She is currently pursuing a degree in Viola Performance at the Robert McDuffie Center for Strings and studies with Rebecca Albers of the Minnesota Orchestra and Victoria Chiang.
