Jacqueline Kaminski
Cello

Jacqueline Kaminski is a recent graduate from the Baldwin Wallace Conservatory of Music. She earned her Bachelors in Cello Performance, studying under Dr. Khari Joyner. This fall she will begin her Masters at the McGill University Schulich School of Music, studying with Elizabeth Dolin. She previously studied with Charles Bernard, Richard Weiss, and Alan Harrell of The Cleveland Orchestra. Additionally, she has played on masterclasses for Andrei Ionitǎ, Sterling Elliot, Alan Rafferty, John Sharp, Brian Snow, Kivie Cahn-Lipman, and as a chamber musician for the Cavani, Callisto, and Jerusalem Quartets. Jackie served as a rotating principal cellist of the BW Symphony Orchestra, and performed with the Symphonic Wind Ensemble, Motet, and Treble Choirs at BW. Jackie has also served as the principal cellist for BW’s Bach Festival, and played in the pit for BWMT’s productions of bare and 25th Annual Spelling Bee. Jackie was selected to play on the 2025 BW Faculty Chamber Concert. Additionally, Jackie has played in various orchestras including the Erie Philharmonic and Ashland, Firelands, Mansfield, and Youngstown Symphonies. She has previously attended the Kent Blossom Music Festival and the Eastern Music Festival. Jackie has won competitions including the Three Arts Club of Lakewood and Tuesday Musical. She received an honorable mention in the 2026 Yamaha Young Performing Artist Competition, and was named a finalist for the 2025 Lauria Concerto Competition. As a passionate teacher, Jackie’s teaching experience includes serving as cello instructor for the 2025 BW Conservatory Summer Institute, as a sectional coach for OMEA’s Northeast Regional Orchestra, as a private teacher for the Avon Academy of Music, and as an education intern for The Cleveland Orchestra.
