Andrew Lakly is a classical double bassist currently in his 2nd year of studies at The University of North Texas. In his earlier years of education, Andrew was a long time member of the Atlanta Symphony Youth Orchestra and many other ensembles in the Atlanta area. Upon being accepted into the competitive double bass program at North Texas, he joined the North Texas Concert Orchestra where he currently plays. Andrew has studied with many notable figures in the field of double bass such as Gloria Jones Allgood and Jeffery Bradetich. He has also performed in master classes with performers such as Jason Heath and Xavier Foley.
