Born and raised in the Philippines, Jenna Salliman has concertized in various venues across her home country and the US. She enjoys her work as soloist, collaborative pianist, and educator. Her solo and chamber repertoire are of wide range, and she is interested in exploring works by non-canonic composers such as Bowen, Bridge, Escher, and Klebanov. Most recently, she received the National Society of Arts and Letters scholarship and was a prizewinner of the Florida Young Artist International Piano Competition and the Lyric Chamber Competition, the latter giving her the opportunity to present a recital in the Lyric Chamber Music Society in New York. She has also won top prizes in competitions including the Schubert Club and the Round Top Chamber Competition. 
 
Jenna is currently residing in Houston and pursuing her doctoral studies with Tim Hester; she is also serving as a piano teaching assistant. Her previous teachers include Roberta Rust, Uriel Tsachor, and Anthony Say.
