Ella Canney is a soprano from Millbury, Massachusetts, currently studying with Rachel Calloway at the University of South Carolina. Last year, she performed the role of La Ciesca in Gianni Schicchi, and this fall she will be singing the role of Anna Gomez in The Consul with Opera at USC. Last summer, she participated in the Opera Lucca scenes program, where she appeared in roles such as Musetta (La Bohème) and Susanna (Le Nozze di Figaro).
