Hannah Verduzco, lyric soprano, is a Master’s student at the UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music, where she studies with Professor Michael Dean. She earned dual degrees in Music Education and Vocal Performance from UCLA, along with a California K-12 Music Teaching Credential. A recipient of the UCLA Opera Scholarship and winner of the 2024–25 UCLA All-Stars Competition, she has performed with Opera UCLA in Handel’s Acis and Galatea, Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas, and the premiere of Richard Danielpour’s The Grand Hotel Tartarus. This fall, she will appear as the Governess in Britten’s The Turn of the Screw under the direction of James Darrah.
