Luis is a Puerto Rican baritone raised in Cincinnati, OH. Last summer, he performed with the Chautauqua Conservatory as the Count in Mozart's Le Nozze di Figaro, as well as the guitar-playing Wedding Singer in de Falla's La Vida Breve. Luis has also been a chorus member with the Cincinnati Opera. In competition, he has earned top prizes from the National YoungArts competition, the National Association of Teachers for Singing, Schmidt Vocal Arts, the Classical Singer Competition, and Dayton Opera. Luis is a rising senior at the Manhattan School of Music studying with Jack Li Vigni.
