am Goldfarb is an emerging pianist, arranger, and firm believer that every performance should accentuate both an artist’s unique interpretation of and passion for the music. A junior at the University of Michigan, he is pursuing his bachelor’s degree in piano performance under the tutelage of Logan Skelton. He is also a member and marketing chair of the Blue Bop Jazz Orchestra, where he values effective communication with his bandmates and the courage to take risks to create authentic, personal musical experiences. 
 
In May 2025, Goldfarb toured South Africa with the University of Michigan Symphony Orchestra, performing a combination of American music and South African popular music. An avid competitor, he was a finalist in the 2025 SMTD Undergraduate Concerto Competition and won second place in the 2023 TMTA Piano Solo Competition, third place in the 2022 TMTA Piano Concerto Competition, first place in the 2022 Clear Lake Symphony Youth Concerto Competition, and first place in the 2022 HMTA Chamber Music & Piano Ensemble Competition. He won the Eleventh International Chopin Youth Competition (Chopin Society of Houston) and the Jan Ekier Award for Best Performance of the Most Difficult Piece (2019). 
 
Goldfarb attended Gijón International Piano Festival, Brevard Music Center Summer Institute, Rebecca Penneys Piano Festival, and Interlochen Arts Camp. He has performed in masterclasses for renowned pianists such as Jon Kimura Parker, Stanislav Ioudenitch, and Ursula Oppens. 
 
Beyond the realm of classical music, Goldfarb enjoys stepping into the world of jazz and arranging video game music for piano.
