Soprano Lynn Kang is a young artist from Seoul, South Korea. Recent roles include Susanna in Le nozze di Figaro at Chautauqua Institution (2025). 
 
Lynn’s early training at Interlochen Arts Academy and Sunhwa Arts School in Seoul laid the foundation for a career distinguished by both technical skill and dramatic nuance. At Interlochen, she performed roles including Dido in Dido and Aeneas, Poppea in L’incoronazione di Poppea, Fedra in L’egisto, and Lady Saphir in Patience, and appeared on Interlochen Public Radio. 
 
An active concert artist, Lynn has premiered contemporary works by Jacob Eddy and Gabriel Legros at Manhattan School of Music and performed a scene from Handel’s Rinaldo with conductor Kensho Watanabe at Chautauqua. She also contributes to the musical community as a soloist at Korean Presbyterian Church of New York and as a director and video producer for student projects such as MSM’s “Salon Reimagined” and the Core Celebration promotional video (2025). 
 
Lynn’s artistry is shaped through studies with Mark Schnaible, Cyndia Sieden, Kanae Matsumoto Giampietro, and Jeffery Norris, as well as masterclasses with Thomas Lausmann, Jonathan Beyer, and Nicole Cabell. She is a recipient of the MSM President Scholarship and a grant recipient of the Anna Sosenko Foundation. 
 
Currently pursuing her Bachelor of Music at Manhattan School of Music, Lynn continues to build on a firm foundation while developing the depth of her artistry, aspiring to become an international opera singer and versatile artist.
