Stephanie Perez is a Mexican- American mezzo-soprano from Los Angeles, California, currently based in Rochester, NY. She attended Mannes School of Music at The New School and received The Presidential Scholarship. Stephanie recently graduated with the Professional Studies Diploma in Voice, and in 2019, she received a Master of Music in Voice. Currently, she is under the guidance of Margaret Lattimore and Joshua Greene. While attending Mannes School of Music, Stephanie performed scenes such as Carmen (Carmen), Charlotte (Werther), Emilia (Otello), Marcellina (Le Nozze di Figaro), Marthe (Faust), Mother Marie (Dialogue of the Carmelites), Mrs. Quickly (Sir John in Love), and Tisbe (La Cenerentola). She also performed in productions including her most recent role as Marcellina in Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro, Madame Larina in Tchaikovsky's Eugene Onegin, La Principessa in Puccini’s Suor Angelica, and Mrs. Moreno an untitled opera by Missy Mazzoli.
