COVID Protocol

Our COVID protocols vary depending on the nature of the program involved. Thank you for helping us navigate these varied protocols so we can endeavor to bring you a summer of brilliant program without interruption. Please note that where masking is in effect, surgical, KN95, or N95 masks are required. All protocols are subject to change; Chautauqua Institution will remain in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. 

While the majority of venues and circumstances at Chautauqua Institution are operating with optional masking, Chautauqua Institution WILL be requiring audiences to mask when attending:

  • Chautauqua Opera Company and Conservatory performances in Norton Hall and other indoor venues
  • Chautauqua Theater Company performances in Bratton Theater and other indoor venues
  • All indoor student performances and studio visits
