Noah Ghosh
Violin

Hailing from the heart of Silicon Valley, Noah Ghosh began his violin studies at the age of thirteen with Elizabeth Park after studying piano for seven years. He has attended music festivals such as the Chautauqua Institution and Center Stage Strings, and he has received medals from the United States Open Music Competition, Music Teachers’ Association of California VOCE competition, and American Protégé International Concerto Competition. In high school, Noah also dabbled in mallet percussion, participating in his highschool’s marching band and winter percussion programs for two years as front ensemble captain and center (principal) marimba player. Some of his hobbies outside music include competitive yoyoing and origami. Noah is currently entering his third year of undergraduate studies with Professor Aaron Berofsky at the University of Michigan School of Music, Theatre & Dance.

Noah is the recipient of the Ruth Higby Haver and Della and David Higby Music Scholarship, The Marsha J. Alico Memorial Music Scholarship, and the Chautauqua Scholarship.
