Shannon Hesse studied at the Eastman School of Music, Catholic University, and Westminster Choir College, working with distinguished pedagogues Jean Barr and Ingrid Clarfield. Dr. Hesse currently serves as staff pianist at Rice University and has been on the Chautauqua music faculty since 2017.
