Alexander Tsereteli

Alexander (Sandro) Tsereteli, 22, is currently heading into his second year of the Master of Music program in Piano Studies at the Yale School of Music, where he studies under the tutelage of Prof. Boris Slutsky. Alexander has been a regular recipient of scholarships during his years at Levine Music and the New England Conservatory where he completed his Bachelor of Music degree while studying with Prof. Alexander Korsantia. Alexander has performed at numerous prestigious venues such as the Kennedy Center REACH and Millennium Stage, The Kosciuszko Foundation, Arena Stage, and the Bruno Walter Auditorium at the Lincoln Center. In addition to his piano studies, he has been composing from an early age and has performed his compositions for several masterclasses and events, including for artists such as Simon Sargon, the Del Sol String Quartet, and the Emerson String Quartet. In 2021, Alexander composed music for a documentary series about wine culture in the different regions of his native country of Georgia, which was showcased at different venues including the Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival in 2022.

Alexander is the recipient of the Laurie Miller Piano Scholarship and the Eleanor B. Daugherty Scholarship Fund.
