Justine Teo is a Singaporean violinist based in Chicago. She plays with the Peoria Symphony Orchestra, Illinois Philharmonic Orchestra, and will be a Regular Member with the Civic Orchestra of Chicago in the fall. In addition to performing, she is also a teaching artist with Apollo’s Fire at their Side-by-Side Strings Program in Matteson, Illinois. Justine has spent her summers at Green Mountain Chamber Music Festival and Northwestern Summer Violin Institute. She is currently completing her Post-Master’s Certificate at DePaul University in the studio of Janet Sung, and received a Master of Music under the tutelage of Almita Vamos at the Chicago College of Performing Arts. Justine is thrilled to return to Chautauqua this summer.
