Lucy Taylor is a student at The Ruth Page School of Dance, where she has trained extensively with Victor Alexander, Dolores Long, Birute Barodicaite, Patti Klekovic, and Maray Gutierrez for eleven years. She has had the pleasure of dancing in original works by renowned choreographers Nejla Yatkin, Ido Tadmor, Paola Sorressa, and Armando Martén. In 2019, she was honored to assist Ramona De Saá (Nacional Ballet de Cuba) as her demonstrator for the Cuban Technique Teaching Seminar at Towson University. She has participated in international dance exchanges in Cuba and Spain, and won gold at Concurso a Internacional de Academias de Ballet in 2017 (Havana). In her final Nutcracker production as a student with the Ruth Page Civic Ballet, Lucy is thrilled to dance the principal roles of the Snow Queen and American Beauty Rose. Ms. Taylor is a graduating senior with plans to pursue computer science and philosophy in her collegiate studies.
