Becka Nieder has been dancing with L-Theory Collective since 2018. Her love of dance began with her first Calumet Park park district class, at the age of 2. She was an apprentice in the Bal/Chi Contemporary Dance Theater, while a student at Northern Illinois University in the early 2000s. She graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Physical Education, K-12 and Dance Education, 6-12. She then went on to earn certificates in Personal Training, and 200 hours Nutrition from the National Personal Training Institute. In addition to dancing, Becka has owned and operated Becka’s Boot Camp in Grayslake since 2011. She’s been married since 2010 and has 3 children. In addition to dancing with L-Theory Collective, she has danced with CLC’s dance department for their Prairie Spirits Troupe shows and Student Choreographed showcases, from 2014-2020. Earlier this year, she collaborated with Poet Laureate Chasity Gunn for a project with Atrocious Poets.
