A Chicago native, John started dancing at the age of 5. His formal training began at the Ruth Page School of Dance after first performing in their legendary Nutcracker at 6 years old. As one of the first Ruth Page Civic Ballet members, John had the privilege of working with many great choreographers, including the late Larry Long. John continued to dance for many companies and choreographers in and around the Chicagoland area while pursuing his degree in Electrical Engineering. He currently works for PolyScience as the Controls Project Leader. John has now joined the RPSD faculty, using his years of institutional knowledge to teach the next RPSD generation. He passes on the torch this year and adds to his resumé Children’s Director.
