Dori Rothschild began her dance training with her mother, Joni Goldstein. At 8, she began dancing at the Ruth Page School of Dance. During her studies, she danced in Ruth Page’s The Nutcracker at Arie Crown Theater from 1989-1996, performing numerous roles in the production. She then finished her final two high school years at the Houston Ballet Academy. Dori received her Bachelor of Science in ballet at Indiana University, where she trained under Violette Verdy. Her professional career includes The Washington Ballet, Ballet Gamonet in Miami, Ballet Florida, Ballet Met, and the Warner Bros. “Casablanca, The Dance” tour to China with John Clifford. She is currently an instructor at the Ruth Page School of Dance and a private Gyrotonic instructor. Dori lives in Glencoe with her husband, Rob, and two daughters, Remi and Livi.
