Rex Camphuis has been a dynamic force in the arts since 1986, with a diverse background in Theater, Film, Television, and Circus Production. Educated at The San Diego School of Creative and Performing Arts, his career flourished from an apprenticeship at San Diego’s Starlight Opera to significant roles in the film and television industry in Los Angeles, including work on WB’s “Felicity” and ABC’s “Alias.” Rex's journey took a creative turn when he co-founded TROUPE VERTIGO in 2009. His directorial prowess is evident in productions like Birdhouse Factory and contributions to film, including documentaries for the Children’s Defense Fund and the award-winning short film ONE ARMED MAN. Rex's passion for storytelling across multiple platforms showcases his commitment to enriching the performing arts landscape.
