Chaz Ritenour
Alice May Director of Education & Community Programs

Mr. Ritenour is currently the Alice May Director of Education and Community programs with the Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra. In addition to serving as the Youth Orchestra Manager, he oversees the production of all education programs and community outreach – including the Lollipops Concerts, the Diversity Series, and Young People’s Concerts, among others. Mr. Ritenour holds a bachelor’s degree in percussion performance from the University of Evansville. While a student, he was principal percussion of the orchestra and wind ensemble, performed with the jazz bands and percussion ensemble, and served as chapter president for Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Music Fraternity. He is also a former member of the Evansville Philharmonic’s Tales and Scales. For the last 10 years, he has taught concert and marching percussion, elementary music, and maintained a private studio that spans all across Southern Indiana.
