Tonight's Dancers

The EPO is excited to welcome back our collaborators from the University of Evansville’s Mad Hot Ballroom (MHB) Program. The program launched as a partnership in 2017 with Glenwood Leadership Academy, and was made possible through a sponsorship from Judith Ann Griffin. It provides partner dance education and performance opportunities to children and adults in our community, and is designed to make dance accessible to everyone. If interested in being involved, contact program advisor Erin Lewis at EL131@evansville.edu. Tonight’s dance accompaniment was choreographed by the MHB team to both honor the original West Side Story choreography, and incorporate more Puerto Rican rhythms.
