With a career spanning nearly four decades, more than a dozen solo recordings, and countless performances, Peter White isn’t finished yet. Peter was born in 1954 in a small town outside of London, England. Learning to play several instruments as a child, he gravitated towards guitar which was to be expected when growing up during the era of The Beatles and The Rolling Stones.
After learning his first chords on acoustic guitar, Peter’s interest shifted towards artists like Crosby, Stills & Nash, James Taylor, and Joni Mitchell. He decided by his late teens that he would pursue music professionally. In 1975, Peter was invited to play keyboard for Al Stewart’s band for a tour of England, Scotland, and the U.S. After a successful tour, the two musicians co-wrote numerous songs including Al Stewart’s 1978 hit, “Time Passages.”
Peter relocated to Los Angeles in the early 1980’s and launched his solo career in 1990 with the release of his first album, “Reveillez-Vous.” After a successful solo career debut, Peter gained more traction as he continued releasing albums; some of which featured artists like David Sanborn and Philippe Saisse. Peter’s latest album, “Millisecondi,” was released in 2022 and he continues to perform for audiences around the world.
