is the award-winning writer best known for The Bubbly Black Girl Sheds Her Chameleon Skin and Bella: An American Tall Tale. She has received Obie, Kleban, Larson, Richard Rodgers, Audelco and Frederick Loewe Awards, Lortel and Drama Desk nominations. Kirsten has written for Disney, the American Songbook, and many more.
