Holden Burroughs is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in piano performance at East Carolina University, where he studies with Kwan Yi. He is a member of the Honors College and a recipient of the Commander’s Leadership Scholarship from the Air Force Reserve Officers’ Training Corps. In addition, he was a scholarship recipient at the 2023 East Carolina Piano Festival.  He has performed in masterclasses with Alexander Shtarkman, Thomas Sauer, Marina Lomazov, and Christopher Guzman. 

He has received the "Semper Fidelis" Award for Musical Excellence and a superior in piano performance at the Greenville Piano Teachers Festival. Along with piano, he plays saxophone and has received all-district recognition. Once he graduates, he will commission into the United States Air Force where he plans to bring his love of music to those serving beside him. Upon departure from the USAF, he desires to perform, teach, serve in music ministry, and further his education.
