Mark Davies is making his debut with Whatcom Chorale. A busy performer, he is frequently seen in major roles with companies throughout the Puget Sound region. Most recently, Mr. Davies was seen as Figaro in The Barber of Seville with Pacific Northwest Opera  and in a video performance of Argento's one-character opera A Water Bird Talk. He has also worked with the Marrowstone Music Festival, Bellingham Symphony Orchestra, Puget Sound Concert Opera, and Bellevue City Opera Ballet.

Mr. Davies is an instructor of voice at Western Washington University and a highly regarded pianist and vocal coach, having worked with artists who appear at opera houses around the world. He is currently a doctoral candidate in vocal performance and literature at Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music.
