Soprano Sherrie Kahn is an active recitalist and soloist, appearing often with Whatcom Chorale and Skagit Symphony. An accomplished interpreter of classic American song, she has performed numerous recitals of works by Cole Porter, George Gershwin, and Stephen Sondheim. Prior to moving with her family from New York City to Bellingham in 2006, Kahn performed with regional opera and musical theater companies, and specialized in liturgical music and oratorios. She was a soloist for many years at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine. 

Kahn is a board member of Pacific Northwest Opera, has served as board president of North Sound Youth Symphony and Whatcom Chorale, as well as a volunteer with Bellingham Music Club.
