JONATHAN BOLENA, a resident of Staunton, Virginia, is a graduate of Saint Thomas Choir School in New York City, where he sang as a chorister in the world-renowned Choir of Men and Boys at Saint Thomas Church, Fifth Avenue. Now a junior at Woodberry Forest School, Jon serves as Organ Scholar of St. Andrew’s Chapel and regularly accompanies chapel services. He studies under the brilliant tutelage of Woodberry’s Chair of Music, Wallace Hornady. Jon is the accompanist of the Chapel Choir and founded and directs Woodberry’s newest choral group, ACTS, the Anglican Choral Tradition Society.

BARBARA TAYLOR MOORE studied piano and organ in Charlottesville with Georgia Renfro and holds a B.A. in Music (Piano and Organ) from Mary Washington College and a M.M. in Organ Performance from Baylor University. Following a brief period of organ study in the Netherlands, she returned to Charlottesville to set up a private teaching studio. Currently, she teaches piano and organ privately and is on the performance faculty at the University of Virginia, serves as organist at University Baptist Church, and performs concerts on organ and as accompanist for soloists and local choral groups, which have included Oratorio Society, Virginia Consort, and the touring college choir from University Baptist Church. She is active in the Wednesday Music Club, the Charlottesville Music Teachers Association, and the American Guild of Organists.

LAURA BLEVINS DOUGLASS, a Page County native, completed 37 years in music ministry at two churches – Fairlington UMC, Alexandria (1979-1991) and Asbury UMC, Harrisonburg (1991-2016). A graduate of Mary Washington College and Northwestern University, she completed studies for ordination as a Deacon in Full Connection (DFC) at Wesley Theological and Garrett Evangelical Theological Seminaries. In retirement she serves as a substitute organist and Social Action Coordinator for United Women in Faith, Shenandoah River District.


Toccata and Fugue in D Minor (Dorian), BWV 538

AARON LOONEY,
a native of Bridgewater, is currently a junior at St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota, where he is pursuing a Bachelor of Music in Church Music with an organ emphasis under Dr. Catherine Rodland. Aaron performs regularly at St. Olaf and in the Twin Cities on the organ and has the privilege of singing with and managing the St. Olaf Choir, directed by Dr. Anton Armstrong. Aaron’s aspirations are to continue on to graduate school to pursue masters and eventual doctoral degrees in organ performance. He held a position as organist at Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church of Mount Sidney, Virginia for two years, where he led worship as Music Minister. In the fall of 2021 Aaron joined the worship team at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church in Excelsior, Minnesota, where he holds a position as Student (Associate) Organist.

ROGER DAGGY
(BM, MM, Northwestern University) is Director of MusicOrganist at First Presbyterian Church in his hometown of Waynesboro. His previously held positions include Director of Music/Organist at Calvary Moravian Church in Winston-Salem, NC and Organist at the Parish of St. Matthew in Pacific Palisades, CA. Mr. Daggy is thankful to have played services and concerts in the UK, Europe (Hungary, Czech Republic, Germany, Ireland) and the US (Los Angeles, Chicago, Atlanta, Greensboro).
