Mikaela Hanrahan is an actor, musician, and educator originally from southeastern Wisconsin, currently based in Staunton, VA. She believes theatre to be a primary vehicle to experience empathy, ignite emotion, and inspire audiences. The goal for her art is to express honesty and authenticity through performance. She is first and foremost a storyteller and love to incorporate a variety of mediums in performance. She is a recent graduate of the MFA program in Shakespeare and Performance (Acting concentration) with Mary Baldwin University in collaboration with the American Shakespeare Center. Mikaela has recently performed with Swift Creek Mill Theatre, American Shakespeare Center, and Richmond Shakespeare.
