Asya Little-Graves is a fierce, history-making dancer to watch. Now entering her fourth year with Revolution Dance Theatre, she is currently pursuing her degree in Dance at The Ohio State University. A graduate of the Cincinnati School for Creative and Performing Arts, Little-Graves became only the second Black woman to dance the role of the Sugar Plum Fairy on a professional stage in Cincinnati. She is a standout cast member in David Choate's Hot Chocolate — an African American reimagining of the classic Nutcracker — and has appeared in numerous music and educational videos celebrating dance. Little-Graves teaches at Revolution Dance Theatre’s academy and recently performed "The Mooche" at a sold-out Classical Roots concert with the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, following her stunning performance and choreography as “Amy” in the world premiere of If I’m Honest at the Aronoff Center. The revolution is Asya Little-Graves.
Revolution Dance Theatre is Cincinnati’s premier Black ballet company, dedicated to creating bold, world-class performances that uplift, inspire, and redefine the future of dance.
