Soroush Sadeghi is a collaborative pianist currently pursuing his Doctor of Music degree in Collaborative Piano at Indiana University, where he serves as an associate instructor under the mentorship of Anne Epperson, Kevin Murphy and Aram Arakelyan. He previously earned both his Master of Music degree and a Performer’s Diploma from Indiana University, working closely with esteemed faculty members including Heidi Grant Murphy, Carol Vaness, Michelle DeYoung, Wolfgang Brendel, Russell Thomas, Atar Arad, Mark Kaplan, Kyung Sun Lee, and members of the Pacific Quartet.
Sadeghi has participated in masterclasses with renowned pianists such as Warren Jones, Rohan De Silva, Gordon Back, Thomas Hoppe and Kathleen Kelly. He has performed at prominent festivals including the Source Song Festival in Minneapolis and Operation Opera at California State University, and he served as a staff pianist at Interlochen Arts Camp 2023. In the summer of 2025, he will join the Brevard Music Festival as a teaching assistant.
Before moving to the United States, Sadeghi was active at leading music schools and festivals in Iran. He collaborated with the Tehran Opera Ensemble on productions such as Hansel and Gretel, Les Misérables and The Sound of Music, and he performed with major ensembles including the Tehran Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Alexander Rahbari.
His discography includes From Italy to Persia (2022), a collaboration with oboist Aryan Gheitasi released on the ARS Produktion label and marketed in Europe, Japan and the U.S., and Oblivion (2019), recorded with the Tehran Quintet and released by Raha Music Production.
