Chika Kinderman a Yokohama, Japan native, holds a bachelor’s degree from Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music and a performer diploma from Indiana University. She was assistant second violin of the North Carolina Symphony prior to joining the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra in 1997. She enjoys reading Japanese books and doing jigsaw puzzles in her spare time.
