Angela Tang is a junior at Mason High School. She has studied violin for twelve years and is currently a student of Professor Joel Smirnoff, having previously studied with Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra musician Ms. Kun Dong. She serves as concertmaster of the Cincinnati Symphony Youth Orchestra (Philharmonic) and is a member of the 2025 National Youth Orchestra (NYO2). She was also the concertmaster of the Ohio Music Education Association (OMEA) All-State Orchestra in 2025 and 2026.

Additionally, Angela was the winner of the 2025 Cincinnati Overture Awards and the state winner of the 2024 MTNA Competition in the Senior String category. She also performed as a soloist with the Blue Ash Montgomery Symphony Orchestra in 2024. Beyond violin, Angela enjoys creative writing as well as earth and space science.
