Anita Spritzer is a drag performer from Tacoma, Washington. Widely known for her live vocals, big wigs and over-the-top looks. She recently produced and performed in the world premier of her one woman holiday show Anita Spritzer’s Gay Apparel at Seattle Opera. Following her debut recital Divo to Diva during their 2023 season. Other appearances include the 2022 Pride Pops concert alongside Thorgy Thor and the Seattle Symphony. As one of the PNW’s most sought after drag queens, Ms. Spritzer is seen weekly on stage hosting and producing several of the areas iconic, long-running drag shows. Ms. Spritzer was awarded the Pearl Award by the Tacoma City Council in 2023 for her continued support and leadership in the queer community. When the drag is off, Spritzer is tenor John Marzano. Mr. Marzano has recently appeared at Vashon Opera as The Witch in Hänsel und Gretel. Also frequenting Seattle Opera, recently seen as Spoletta in Tosca, Beppe in Pagliacci and Oronte in Alcina among others. But tonight she IS the BIG, BOLD, BELTING BABE of the PNW, Anita Spritzer!
