Lauren Eylise
Vocalist

Music has been a part of singer-songwriter Lauren Eylise’s heart and soul for as long as she can remember. Singing since the tender age of 2 years old, music emerged as an innate form of expression for Lauren. Though her formal education in music was scarce, Lauren’s craft was propelled by her passion and life experiences.

Lauren Eylise’s genre-defying music can only be accurately categorized as eclectic-soul, as an array of influences make up her sound. Her commanding vocals and acoustic stylings exude an indie-folk style with R&B overtones that easily appeal to the energy of Pop music. When armed with her full band, the soul singer’s sound fuses funkadelic rock and electric blues. She is unapologetic, autonomously sensual and vulnerably transparent in her music and presence.

Lauren’s sophomore album This Is Personal is an emotional exploration of the peaks and valleys of both love and life. True to her style, Lauren explores an array of genres  — from the emotionally aggressive songs like Bad Choices and Overdose showcasing rock & soul tones comparable to Tina Turner and Prince, to the stripped, sensual and seductive notes of tracks like Joyriding and Devour Me.

Lauren Eylise’s resume reflects more than six years of work under her belt. As such, she has opened stages for the likes of Patti LaBelle, Erykah Badu, Jidenna, Tank and The Bangas, Yasiin Bey, Talib Kweli, Train, John Legend, Matt Kearney, Raheem Devaughn, Tank, and many more.

Lauren has appeared as a front woman for P&G's Secret Deodorant #AllStrengthNoSweat campaign. She’s collaborated with Adobe Design for a live streaming concert and has also been featured on NPR numerous times for her standout Tiny Desk Contest performance of her original song from her most recent album release, “Peaks & Valleys”. In 2019, Lauren Eylise appeared on the Kelly Clarkson show as a partner with Secret Deodorant and Women In Music for a female powered campaign dedicated to putting female authors in the forefront.

Lauren Eylise’s emergent repertoire has drawn international streams and she is the recipient of a plethora of awards including City Beat’s Musician of The Year (2021), Golden Donut Award’s Album of The Year and Song of The Year (2020), Women In Charg3’s Best RnB Artist of the Year (2016). Lauren is also a voting member of The Recording Academy.

Lauren Eylise will be embarking on a 2022 tour of her album This Is Personal. For more on Lauren Eylise, visit laureneylise.com.
