Max Townsley is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, songwriter and singer based in Dallas. He has toured the globe extensively as a guitarist and keyboardist with Jon Batiste, Midlake and Neon Indian/Alan Palomo. He composed and performed the music for the film Song of the Cicada. As a songwriter, he has penned songs for Keith Urban and Sabrina Claudio. His vocals were featured in the first episode of the HBO series Generation. Townsley also works as a session musician, playing guitar and keyboards on many musical projects for artists such as Lauren Daigle, Alessia Cara and Brittany Howard. Most recently, Townsley appeared in the feature film Saturday Night and contributed to the soundtrack.
