Caitlin Lee has served as the Planetarium Coordinator at Joliet Junior College for the past four years, where she has transformed the way over 10,000 students each year experience Science and Astronomy. Through passion, creativity, and a commitment to accessible education, Ms. Lee brings the wonders of the universe to life, making complex scientific concepts fun and engaging for learners of all ages.

Her academic journey began at JJC in 2015, where she studied Secondary Education and later continued at the University of St. Francis in Joliet.

A lifelong stargazer and advocate for science literacy, Ms. Lee is dedicated to inspiring curiosity about the cosmos in every student she meets. Whether she is guiding a planetarium show, designing interactive curriculum, or hosting community events, she matrixes to make science feel personal, exciting, and within reach for everyone.

When not under the planetarium night sky, Ms. Lee enjoys life as an artist and fills time with her favorite hobbies - cat cuddling, camping, cooking, and cross-stitching.
