I am so happy and excited to welcome you to another great season with your Illinois Philharmonic! Our orchestra continues to celebrate its diverse programing filled with exceptional American music by composers of different backgrounds, all-time favorite masterworks from all over the world and stellar soloists. 

As usual, we strive to create a season where everyone feels welcome and is able to experience and embrace the inspirational power of music on our stage. Our programs include an opening night with not one but three great American symphonies, our holiday celebration with Messiah, a John Williams concert, an organ concert and much more!

I am so proud of our IPO and what we have accomplished over the years. We are embracing diversity stronger than ever before, championing American music, nurturing young composers’ growth and reaching out to work with hundreds of students every year. All this makes our work extremely gratifying and I feel incredibly privileged to be part of such a vibrant organization.
