Field Trips can be to STEM companies, universities, local businesses, municipal entities, or other kinds of organizations—anywhere technology plays a large part in daily operations. Our students love visiting labs, looking at equipment, and seeing how what they have learned in the classroom translates into the real world. 

Kids in Tech brings an After-School Tech Club (approximately 10-15 students) to your site for a tour, for the kids to see and hear directly from people in your organization how tech is used in the workplace. In addition to the tour, we ask that you prepare an activity for the students to create, move, build, etc. in the form of a hands-on demo, a scavenger hunt, or a game. Kids in Tech staff will collaborate with you to coordinate all of the details. 

Time Commitment: One to two hours for the tour, activity & Q&A. 

Location: At your company, university, lab etc.

Days/Times: Between 3-6 pm Monday-Thursday.
