Brandon Bonamarte has been a cellist in the KSYOA for 7 years. Brandon has a wide variety of musical endeavors including Oak Ridge High School Principal Cellist, Oak Ridge Symphony Youth Cello Fellow, ORHS Masquers Pit Manager and Cellist, 865 Strings Manager and Cellist, ORHS Tri-M Music Honors Society Founder and Emeritus President, and other roles in the local music community. Outside of cello and music management, Brandon is dual-enrolled at Tennessee Technological University studying mathematics and conducting research on machine learning applications in Autism Spectrum Disorder diagnosis in his free time. Brandon's research and presentation won 2nd Place at the Tennessee Junior Science and Humanities Symposium, and he will be presenting it to a wider audience in DC at the National JSHS. Brandon will be getting degrees in Music Performance and Mathematics this fall and is waiting to make his decision until all offers are in. Brandon would like to thank his family for their support, his friends for making everything worth it, and the numerous music educators and programs that have helped in his journey.
