Sophia Combs is a senior at Roane County High School where she plays flute in the marching band, concert band, and wind ensemble. This is her first year being a member of the Knoxville Symphony Youth Orchestra. She has been playing flute for seven years and takes private lessons with Mrs. Sherbie Hampson.  Sophia plans on attending Carson-Newman University next Fall to major in instrumental performance. She would like to thank the directors and instructors who have helped shape her into the musician she is today as well as her mother for all the sacrifices she made to help her get to where she is today.
