Abby Doyle has been playing violin for 9 years, including seven in the Knoxville Youth Symphony Orchestra. Outside of violin, Abby has studied piano for 11 years and trumpet for 6 years. She has participated in numerous honor clinics and All-East clinics on the trumpet, as well as performing in piano recitals in the Natalie Haslam Music Building at UT. She is a member of the Farragut Marching Band, and has played in 5 Farragut musicals as a pit band member. Abby would like to thank her parents for fostering her love of music, Jen Bloch as her private teacher for numerous years, and Katie Liaw for being a great conductor and mentor for years. Abby plans to go to the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in the Chancellors Honors Program and will major in Neuroscience with a minor in business administration.
