Alex Yan is a senior at Farragut High School. He has been in KSYO for six years and played the cello for eight years. Aside from practicing the cello and piano, he also participates in events such as Science Bowl, Science Olympiad, and (unfortunately) math competitions. He plans to major in math and computer science, likely at Harvey Mudd. He is grateful to everyone in KSYO for giving him the opportunity to experience music as part of an orchestra.
