Caleb Bringhust is a graduating senior from Hardin Valley Academy. He is the principal bassist of the KSYO, and also the bassist for the Knoxville Jazz Orchestra. He will be attending the University of North Texas majoring in Double Bass Performance. He has played in the TMEA All-State orchestra all four high school years, serving as its principal his sophomore year. He was a finalist for the Governor’s School Solo competition. Caleb has helped start a number of musical groups, including the Asia Thaller Septet, the Saturday Morning Cartoons Band, and a student-led string quintet at HVA. In his free time, Caleb likes to play guitar, rock climb, and draw.
