Gabi Glashauser has been a member of KYSO as a trumpet player for four years. However, she first played in the KSYO for two years on the violin when she was in elementary school. After graduating from the L&N STEM Academy, Gabi plans to double major in Music Performance and Biochemistry at Boston University. Music has been a part of Gabi's life for as long as she can remember, leading her to opportunities such as Honor Bands, All-East, All-State, the Governor's School for the Arts, and the Brevard Music Center. Many of these experiences would not have been possible without the introduction of Dr. Arthur Zanin, her trumpet instructor for four years. She would like to thank her parents, educators, and friends, all of whom have supported her throughout her musical journey.
