Lauren Gimbel is a senior at L&N STEM Academy and has been playing violin for 15 years. This will be her last season playing with the Knoxville Symphony Youth Orchestra and she will deeply miss the conductors and teachers that have greatly contributed to her growth both as a musician and a person. She is not yet sure where she will go in the fall, though she hopes to major in mechanical engineering, minor in music, and pursue working on personal music compositions and art projects in the future.
